December 3, 2006 (Sunday) --- Elizabeth Lyon, cello, with Svetlana Rodionova, piano January 14, 2007 (Sunday) ---Anne Sullivan, harp Ms. Sullivan will perform harp music by late 19th century Romantic composers and lighter music of the 20th century. She lives in Centre County but continues to teach and concertize in Philadelphia and Delaware. February 18, 2007 (Sunday) ----Arthur Goldstein, piano Arthur's program will include music by Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, and 20th century American composers. He teaches at Penn State and the Music Academy and performs jazz regularly here and in New York. March 4, 2007 (Sunday) --- David Asbury, classical guitar Dr. Asbury is on the faculty of Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas. He will perform guitar masterworks and folk arrangements from Italy, Spain, and the British Isles. April 1, 2007 (Sunday) ---Judy Moore, flute, and friends "Music for Flute, Keyboard, and Strings" will include compositions from the Baroque to the present. Dr. Moore taught music and performed extensively in Maryland before relocating recently to State College. She will be joined by Joanne Zagst Feldman, violin, Barbara Downs, viola, Keirsten Schwanbeck, cello, and Howard Palmer, piano.
Springfest Concert May 30, 2007 (Wednesday) - Heidi von Bernewitz, viola Robert Nairn, double bass with Svetlana Rodionova, piano Ms. von Bernewitz, a member of the Baltimore Symphony, Mr. Nairn, a Professor of Double Bass at Penn State and pianist, Svetlana Rodionova will present a program of duos and trios composed between 1807 and 2007. The program will include a sonata for viola and piano by Shostakovich and works by Brahms, Sperger, Kleinknecht, and John Hawkins.
