Many of our members are associated with the Unitarian Universalist Students of Penn State University (UUS) President of UUS group, Heidi Schurter Meetings: For meeting times, go to the UUS web site at http://www.clubs.psu.edu/up/uus/ Rides are available. Contact Heidi for information. Penn State UUS is a group of students who may or may not claim to be Unitarian Universalists. The club receives support and encouragement from the UUFCC, but the group itself is independent and student members may or may not be affiliated with the UUFCC or indeed, with any UU congregation. Some members consider themselves "spiritual but not religious." Some may consider themselves seekers who have not yet settled on a particular theology. Some may follow a particular theology, but feel "out of place" in denominations that have rigid rules and structures. Others may not see themselves as religious at all. At our meetings, we gather to share our similarities and examine our differences, and to learn about various religions and philosophical perspectives. Through sharing, debate, introspection and reasoning, we help each other along on our journeys toward truth and wholeness.
