Wonderful Soulful Wednesday continues during the summer, with reduced programming.
Potlucks begin at 6:00 pm
Games Galore in the Social Room at 7:00 pm
Outdoor play with parental supervision for the children.

WomanSpirit: For the July meeting, participants are asked to bring an object with spiritual meaning. If the weather permits, participants will walk the labyrinth. Womanspirit is open to women members and friends of the Fellowship.The purpose of Wonderful Soulful Wednesday is to provide a time, other than Sunday mornings, and a place for getting to know other members and friends of the Fellowship, for sharing a meal, for having fun, for learning, for discussion, and for spiritual practice. We hope that you will find all of those things and more while you are here!

What we Play: We tend to play modern “Euro-Games.” Most of these come from Europe, especially Germany. Unlike traditional American-style games where you attack your friends and spend 4 hours eliminating them, these games are more cooperative. Players still try to win, but may need to be nice to their friends, even help them, in order to do well…sort of like real life. And many take only a few minutes to learn and an hour or so to play. Yet the strategy is deep enough for even a dedicated gamer. Examples of popular games are Settlers of Catan, Puerto Rico, Power Grid, Carcassonne, Incan Gold, and Trans America.
Who Should Attend: This event is designed for teens and adults; we’re glad to have anyone interested in playing the same game for an hour or so. You don’t have to be associated with UUFCC; the public is welcome.
Where and When: We play the 4th Wednesday of every month (including summer). We start about 6pm and usually continue until 11pm, but you don’t have to be there the whole time. Feel free to arrive late or leave early.
Treats: We bring game-friendly (non-greasy) finger foods. We have a No-Open-Drinks-Near-The-Games rule, but your capped bottle of water or pop is fine.
