DESCRIPTION:with guest speaker Paul Takac. \nRepresentative Paul Takac was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2022 to represent the 82nd Legislative District in the heart of Centre County. His policy priorities include ensuring full and fair funding for public education\, championing environmental and clean energy initiatives\, protecting individual rights and freedoms\, and supporting working people and families by creating jobs and investing in local communities—especially in underserved rural areas. \nRepresentative Takac currently serves on the following Pennsylvania House committees: Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Education; Environmental and Natural Resources Protection; Communications and Technology; Emergency Preparedness; Tourism\, Recreation and Economic Development; and Veterans Affairs. Foxdale recently sponsored a presentation by Pam Adams\, Regional Planning Director for the Centre Region Council of Governments\, highlighting local efforts to address climate change.
