UUFCC is hosting an in-person training on how to practice non-cooperation with authoritarianism. The session will be facilitated by Dr. Kate Ragon using curriculum on non-cooperation designed by Daniel Hunter and others at Choose Democracy (https://choosedemocracy.us/). Participants will examine the pillars of power that uphold all social institutions and review and practice the basic elements of non-cooperation. We face transitions all the time from getting up in the morning after a night's rest to retiring from a job to losing a loved one. Transitions are everywhere and they are everyday. What questions do you carry with you for those life changing transitions? What hopes or fears find their way into your consciousness? What can you offer others as they face their own transitions? This is a time to connect deeply and richly about the transitions, good and bad, in our lives.
