May 1, 2017

Dear Members and Friends of UUFCC,

It is with great joy that we announce that the Rev. Carol Thomas Cissel has accepted our call to serve as our next settled minister! After a whirlwind week of worship, meetings, and plenty of community meals, the congregation voted overwhelmingly to call Rev. Cissel at a special meeting held following service on April 30, 2017.

Rev. Cissel’s first day will be Tuesday, August 1, 2017. We know that she is just as eager as we are to start our work together! In the meantime, if you haven’t had a chance to meet Rev. Cissel or get to know a little bit about her, we suggest you visit her website for more information.

Until then, we bid you adieu. If you have questions or comments, please let us know at

Dear Members and Friends of UUFCC,

The Ministerial Search Committee is pleased to announce that we have unanimously chosen the Rev. Carol Thomas Cissel as our candidate for settled minister!

It has been a wonderful experience getting to know Rev. Cissel and her thoughts on ministry. She’ll be visiting UUFCC from Saturday, April 22 until Sunday, April 30th, and there’s a slate of great events lined up. We hope to see you at many of those events, and especially at the services that Rev. Cissel will lead at 10 a.m. on April 23 and April 30. You can learn more about her HERE.

A vote on whether to call Rev. Cissel as our next minister will be held at 11:30 a.m. on April 30. To vote, you must be present, and you must have been a member of UUFCC for at least three months.

It has been an honor and a privilege serving as your Ministerial Search Committee. We hope you’re excited. We certainly are! If you have questions or comments, let us know at
