SUMMARY:Come Celebrate Pride with UUFCC
DESCRIPTION:The Fellowship will have a booth and table. We also have a spot reserved in the parade for anyone who would like to join in. I do need to know that you are coming so I can get you a wrist band which signifies that you are with our group (and identifies you as a part of the planned march). This keeps us safer from outside intrusion and unwanted surprises. Contact me (Maren Larson). \nI need 1-2 volunteers at the table at all times to hand out treats\, engage folks in conversation about the UUFCC and our values. I could use one additional person from 9:30-11:30; and another from 2-3; I am still finalizing coverage between 11:30-2\, so if you can help at any time please let me know. Come show up for PRIDE\, for participants\, for bystanders (quiet or not)\, for yourself\, and especially to be a counter-narrative to anti-GLBTQ+ factions in the nation. \nCome out\, live proudly\, and be visible.

DESCRIPTION:This is a public non-UUFCC event that is recommended by the UUFCC Racial Justice Committee. \nThere seems to be no end in sight to the war on Gaza. Why do some perceive it as a war by a settler colonial power while others see it as a war against terrorists? State College was the first city in PA to adopt a resolution calling for a cease fire in Gaza. Join the editors of the Palestine/Israel Review\, a groundbreaking scholarly journal published by Penn State\, for a thoughtful discussion of the future of Palestine/Israel.
