What We Do

The Board’s job is to make sure that the mission of the Fellowship is developed and implemented and that its goals are carried out in a timely, effective way; to work to engage the Fellowship in creating and implementing long-range strategic plans; to plan for and administer the resources and facilities needed to fulfill the purpose of the UUFCC; to assess the opinions of the membership; to set policy; and to act in the name of the UUFCC between meetings of the membership. The Board has sole authority to enter into, manage, and terminate contracts. It has final authority in the employment of all personnel other than the minister. The Board prepares job descriptions in cooperation with the minister and the Human Resources Committee.

Recently retired from Penn State, I decided to devote more of my time to serving the mission of the UUFCC because I love this fellowship and what it stands for. Among the many aspects of this fellowship that speak to my mind and my heart, I see a lot of people helping others. I hope to contribute to this cause and to inspire others to do so as well.
