At UUFCC, we love to listen to and create music. If you are interested in any of the music programs or the Adult Choir, please contact our Music Director, Colleen Kennedy.

Adult Choir

Meets weekly: Thursday, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the UUFCC Sanctuary.

Performs for hymns and extra music during Sunday Services three times a month.

Directed by Colleen Kennedy.

Jazz Band

Meets weekly: Sunday, 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the UUFCC Sanctuary (sometimes in Room 6 due to other ongoing events).

Performs occasionally for Sunday Services and special events, such as the annual Dance.

Directed by David Morris.

Music Series

A series of Sunday afternoon concerts featuring the best of the region’s classical music performers (both instrumental and vocal) from fall through spring. All concerts are held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County (UUFCC) building. For directions, click here.

Bringing Light Through Music: A Chopin Recital for the Alzheimer’s Foundation
Sunday, November 12, at 4:00 PM
Pianist Seulki Susie Yoo, DMA, will present “Bringing Light Through Music: A Chopin Recital for the Alzheimer’s Foundation.” Donations for this special program will benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
 
Mark Minnich and Friends
Sunday, November 19, at 3:00 PM
Mark will perform a program of classical music that has been influenced by folk music.
 
Stonebridge Winds
Sunday, January 14, at 3:00 PM
The Stonebridge Winds will present a program that will include the Poulenc Sextet for Piano and Winds with pianist Joanne Yang.

Song Circle

Meets once monthly, 2nd Fridays of the month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the UUFCC Sanctuary (sometimes in another location). A regular, informal opportunity to make music together with voices, guitars, banjos, ukuleles, harmonicas, spoons, etc.
