UUFCC - Sanctuary, then Room 6 780 Waupelani Drive Ext., State College

Middle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum.  In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, kids remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.

1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.

Each week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.

Mother’s Day RE Activities

Includes: Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the High School Youth Group's Philadelphia work service trip in June where they will work with the homeless community. Flower Bar - bring flowers to share and/or create your own arrangement!

Discussion facilitated by Emory McKenna. This badly needed introduction to disability expertise considers mobility devices, medical infrastructure, neurodivergence, and the crucial relationship between disability and race. The future, Shew points out, is surely disabled―whether through changing climate, new diseases, or even through space travel. This group is open to all folks who would like to join! Even if you are unable to or haven’t read the book, but would like to join the conversation, we welcome you.
