Breaking Barriers, Building Beliefs (B4) Workshop
UUFCC - Fellowship Hall 780 Waupelani Drive, State College, PA, United StatesOn Saturday, November 18, 10am-2:30pm, UUFCC will host Breaking Barriers, Building Beliefs (B4) offered by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) for congregations searching for a new minister. The B4 workshop is another opportunity for everyone in our congregation to participate in our search. This will be an interactive workshop with childcare, snacks and lunch provided. Please contact Jamie Stitzer at ministersearch@uufcc.com or 814-325-1040 to let the Ministerial Search Committee know that you will attend, so we can arrange food and childcare as needed. This year our Middle School youth will engage in a social justice and anti-racism program exploring various topics and working to take action. Part of the year will be spent in a discussion group on the book, Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi. Films and other activities will enhance learning.

UUFCC - Fellowship Hall 780 Waupelani Drive, State College, PA, United StatesJoin us for our annual Intergenerational Thanksgiving service - the re-telling of the Stone Soup story with our focus on embracing community, including those whom we don't yet know and those with whom we don't necessarily get along, from a sense of abundance, love, and deep kindness.
