On the second Sunday we celebrate mothering and in particular Julia Ward Howe and Mother's International Peace Day. The 17th is a look at where we are going. Memorial Day is a day of remembering and finally, May 31 we celebrate our children and our multigenerational community

Includes: Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the High School Youth Group's Philadelphia work service trip in June where they will work with the homeless community. Flower Bar - bring flowers to share and/or create your own arrangement!

This badly needed introduction to disability expertise considers mobility devices, medical infrastructure, neurodivergence, and the crucial relationship between disability and race. The future, Shew points out, is surely disabled―whether through changing climate, new diseases, or even through space travel. This group is open to all folks who would like to join! Even if you are unable to or haven’t read the book, but would like to join the conversation, we welcome you.
