with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. Music: UUFCC Jazz Band This morning we reflect on the quote often attributed to French Jesuit priest and philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin- "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. Music: UUFCC Choir and Ji, pianist. Fear is not something to overcome, conquer, or push away. Fear is a teacher that reveals what matters most to us.
Congregational meeting held after the service in which Members can vote on various items including the 1st Sunday Plate Collections for the next half of the year.
Join us for a community potluck each month in Fellowship Hall! This is a wonderful time out to connect with UUFCC friends, eat a delicious meal, and celebrate birthdays of the month.
The location will be Krislund Camp in Madisonburg, only about 45 minutes away. There are wonderful facilities including a gymnasium, conference center, cabins, kitchen and dining area. There are walking trails and areas for outside activities depending on the weather. If it snows it would be a winter wonderland with snowman building, fort building, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and s'mores. We are so excited about this opportunity to gather for a weekend of community, activity and yes, adventure! If you are interested in helping with the Retreat please reach out to Ashley Hamlin.
