RE: Middle School
UUFCC - Sanctuary, then Room 6 780 Waupelani Drive Ext., State CollegeMiddle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, kids remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
RE: 1st-5th Grade
UUFCC - Sanctuary first, then Gathering Space1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
RE: Pre-K & K
UUFCC - Gathering Space and Room D 780 Waupelani Drive, State CollegeEach week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.
Sunday Service – “Blessing of the Animals”
UUFCC - Sanctuary 780 Waupelani Drive, State College...with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. All of your animal friends are welcome to come to this special service honoring them. All animals should be on a leash or in a cage for everyone’s safety. If you have an animal that has passed away, bring a picture of them and we will take time to honor our lost friends and companions. Children are welcome to bring a special stuffed animal to be blessed too. Animal blessings originate out of the Catholic tradition; however, many Unitarian Universalists congregations have adopted this practice and made it a uniquely UU type of blessing. Our seventh [...]
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
UUFCC - Sanctuary 780 Waupelani Drive, State CollegeThe UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
