RE: Middle School
UUFCC - Sanctuary, then Room 6 780 Waupelani Drive Ext., State CollegeMiddle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, kids remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
RE: 1st-5th Grade
UUFCC - Sanctuary first, then Gathering Space1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
RE: Pre-K & K
UUFCC - Gathering Space and Room D 780 Waupelani Drive, State CollegeEach week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.
Sunday Service – “Safety Sunday”
UUFCC - Sanctuary 780 Waupelani Drive, State Collegewith Tracy Sprowls. Music: UUFCC Choir On this Sunday, we will begin to look at what a Right Relations Covenant means for our congregation and start a collaborative creation process for a Right Relations Covenant with the guidance of the Fellowship Relations Committee. Safety is a state of being, not something we “arrive” at - there are varying levels of safety. Safety involves creating the space for relationship - oriented toward each other.
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
UUFCC - Sanctuary 780 Waupelani Drive, State CollegeThe UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
