Each week our Pre-K and Kindergarten friends will explore their world in light of our UU values with our wonderful teachers! Pre-K and Kindergarten will meet downstairs in Room D at 10 am with Sue and Rocky. Please sign in and sign out downstairs in Room D. 1st through 5th grade kids will start in the sanctuary and leave after the Wisdom Lesson. Sign in at the welcome table before the service and sign out downstairs by 11:15 am!
Join our Middle School Youth program! This year our Middle School youth will engage in a social justice and anti-racism program exploring various topics and working to take action. Part of the year will be spent in a discussion group on the book, Stamped from the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi. Films and other activities will enhance learning.
Join Colleen and Ashley as we journey across the history of African Americans' struggle for freedom and equality through music in this special offering for Parents/Caregivers, kids, and all ages during RE Hour! We will explore the history of the songs as well as learn to sing them in preparation for our MLK service in January. Kindergarten through Middle School youth are invited to participate!
Each attendee is free to share a memory with the group or just listen. Our purpose is to encourage people to record their memories to share with friends and family and to develop a sense of fellowship with one another. Any and all are welcome. Contact Mike Bourgo.

Timothy Snyder, the acclaimed historian and author of books like On Tyranny, tells us that one of the primary things the average person can do to keep a democracy strong is commit to an institution. Right when we find ourselves in the midst of a political crisis, membership in congregations and other organizations is dramatically down. Let’s talk!

Scary stories help us know fear in our bodies and how to use our intellect and our innate resilience to overcome it. There is plenty to fear in the real world. While we can’t fix everything, we can become more resilient and more compassionate. Scary stories can help.
In the spirit of the death-and darkness-themed holidays of the early Fall season, all ages are invited to join in a light-hearted dissection and exploration of our human fears, phobias and anxieties, so that we are all better situated to keep the monsters in their place. The film explores our economic, historical and emotional entanglement with oil by looking at the conflicting imperatives around North Sea oil and considers how this machine can be tamed, dismantled, or repurposed.
