Please come to our annual Thanksgiving Celebration. Gathering starts at 2pm (1pm for those helping to set-up), we will eat by 2:30 or so. Please feel free to stay and help clean up after the meal. Each week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.
1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. We explore what is normal for our lives and for the nation. We’ll look at what normal means- is there a “normal” or is that just a setting on the dryer? Also, we keep hearing the term “normalizing” in the news. What does that look like in today’s context?
