Our Whole Lives (OWL), is a comprehensive sexuality education program that is a signature curriculum of the UUA and the United Church of Christ. It is a life-saving course that helps kids explore their values around their bodies, identities, relationships, health, and justice and equity. They engage in highly interactive activities and discussions which give them age-appropriate information and decision-making skills so that they can feel empowered to stand up for themselves and others and navigate relationships according to their values. 4th-5th grade - Workshop 7: Reproduction and Staying Healthy 7th-8th grade - Workshop 12&13: Healthy Relationships and Relationship Skills
Our goal is to maintain and enhance the UUFCC's green sanctuary certification by promoting ecojustice and the environmental practices that make ecojustice possible. We do this through projects at the UUFCC and in the broader community, focusing on renewable energy, and promoting the use of sustainable food, green transportation, and clean water.
Climate Justice is about more than avoiding catastrophe. Join us for a collective imagining of a potential future community, making connections between the challenging realities, and building capacity for change through community care. Led by our Green Sanctuary Committee. Contact Troy Frank for more information: troyfrank@gmail.com
