Breakout Session for State College: Native Plantings: The What, Why, and How to Help Counter Climate Change (2pm-3pm) Humans have introduced many plants from different locations in the world, accidentally or purposefully, with some alarming results. Free native plants from the PA IPL and Chesapeake Bay Foundation partnership will be discussed and distributed. Speaker: Greg Williams

EJL’s mission is to establish a powerful social justice coalition that actively advocates for and promotes equity for marginalized populations. We are committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by communities of color, individuals who identify as women, LGBTQ+ individuals, promoting accessibility for people with disabilities, respecting and supporting individuals of all religions, and bridging the socioeconomic gap through equitable education.
The 3-hour session of UU101 is required of newcomers desiring membership. If space is available, it is also open to any current members/friends who wish to retrace their spiritual journey to the UUFCC, to learn about the Fellowship, and to explore the benefits and responsibilities of membership.
