The UUFCC Song Circle offers a fun, monthly opportunity to make music together with voices, guitars, banjos, ukuleles, drums, kazoos, etc. Anyone from the Fellowship or local community can join us to play, sing, or listen. We go around the circle with each person choosing the next song, either from our song-books or a song they brought to share. Contact Pam Short for more information.
In October, the Board took an initial crack at updating the UUFCC mission. This is what we came up with: Creating a beloved community through lifelong service and spiritual exploration. The next part of our process is to review and revise our vision statement. Once we do this, we will revisit the mission statement incorporating what we learned from your comments and the visioning exercise. You are invited to join us as Rev. ...with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. Music: UUFCC Choir. Join us as we celebrate the wonder, growth, and joy we've encountered over this past year. We’ll have a group child dedication and thank our RE volunteers, too. We’ll also share a video of our families, kids, and adults as we've traveled together to learn, love, and be transformed.
Are you concerned about our democracy? Feeling overwhelmed and stressed by current events? Please join others in the library every Sunday after the service from 11 to 11:30 or longer for sharing and mutual support (except the first Sunday).
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
