Join us for an engaging presentation with Pam Adams, Regional Planning Director for the Centre Region Council of Governments (CRCOG). Pam has served the region for 16 years, leading sustainability planning and the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan while working with municipalities and community partners to advance meaningful environmental, economic, and energy initiatives. CRCOG, a partnership of six Centre Region municipalities, works collaboratively to provide shared services and address regional challenges. Pam will discuss how local government, businesses, and residents are taking action on climate priorities, from solar installations and clean transportation efforts to food waste programs, renewable natural gas projects, and federal grants supporting safety and resiliency. She will also explore current gaps in climate progress and share emerging opportunities for the coming year, including energy financing tools, community stewardship initiatives, and updates on Climate Action and Adaptation Plan goals. This presentation offers insight into how our region is moving toward a more sustainable future and ways for community members to get involved.
This program is free and open to the public.
