UUFCC Music Series: String Music for Spring
UUFCC - Sanctuary 780 Waupelani Drive, State College, PA, United StatesThree local musicians will present "String Music for Spring" for the next event on our series. The performers will be violinist Gregory Glessner, violinist Hannah Lin-Glessner, and violist John Roxburgh. Their program will celebrate the rich repertoire for violin and viola with solos, duos, and trios that will feature the Handel-Halvorsen Passacaglia for violin and viola and Dvorak's Terzetto for two violins and viola. Gregory Glessner earned degrees in Violin Performance from Messiah College and Penn State. He teaches violin and viola in Boalsburg, plays in local orchestras, and owns Homestead Strings, a violin shop in State College. Freedom Seder 2025

Centre County Interfaith Coalition for Gun Safety
UUFCC - Fellowship Hall 780 Waupelani Drive, State College, PA, United StatesThe Centre County Interfaith Coalition for Gun Safety is an alliance of local religious leaders and community members committed to building a peaceful society free from preventable gun violence. Through our work, we educate on issues related to gun violence, advocate for responsible and safe gun ownership, and unite with local, state, and federal officials on matters of gun safety that benefit the whole community.
