June 25, 2024, is the 4th Tuesday of the month and the time Diving Deep has traditionally met for more than 30 years. Diving Deep is UUFCC’s women’s book discussion group founded in 1992 by Marian Dornell. This month we will return to our customary potluck prior to the annual meeting where we pitch our favorite reads and select the book titles for the coming year. We will also engage in some organizational housekeeping such as calendaring, deciding on meeting format, and leadership. The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.

EJL’s mission is to establish a powerful social justice coalition that actively advocates for and promotes equity for marginalized populations. Our goal is to maintain and enhance the UUFCC's green sanctuary certification by promoting ecojustice and the environmental practices that make ecojustice possible. We do this through projects at the UUFCC and in the broader community, focusing on renewable energy, and promoting the use of sustainable food, green transportation, and clean water.
