Join us for Pledge Sunday - March 24, 2024. This year we are "Committing to Community." Our home at UUFCC makes it possible for this to happen, because we know that together we can do more than what we can do alone! What does commitment look like? What does where we put our money say about us? Why do we have to pledge anyway? Rev. Tracy Sprowls will lead us for this very special service.
This week our Pre-K/K friends will explore our emotion of anger. Please sign in downstairs in Room D.

End Gun Violence - Please join us in the Community Room right after the service for our End Gun Violence letter writing campaign. We will be writing to our PA state senators to get current gun legislation out of committee and onto the floor for a vote. Our goal is to send 40 letters from our congregation! Join Colleen and Ashley as we have fun learning new songs to sing for our Multi-generational Sunday services: Earth Day Service on April 21, Lifespan RE Service on May 19, and Flower Celebration Service on June 2. We’ll continue our journey of Social Justice Music through the span of Black American history as well as add new songs for Earth Day and Flower Celebration. Our companions in life are death and grief and yet they are so difficult to talk about, and rarely at that. In times of loss, how do we find healthy comfort? Further, is emotional comfort something human beings should even expect as part of life? In the death workshop we will go over practical matters, memorial services, and think about our own deaths. The grief workshop includes how to walk with grief, writing condolence notes, and digging deep into the grief of being human.
