Join Colleen and Ashley as we have fun learning new songs to sing for our Multi-generational Sunday services: Earth Day Service on April 21, Lifespan RE Service on May 19, and Flower Celebration Service on June 2. We’ll continue our journey of Social Justice Music through the span of Black American history as well as add new songs for Earth Day and Flower Celebration. Our goal is to maintain and enhance the UUFCC's green sanctuary certification by promoting ecojustice and the environmental practices that make ecojustice possible. We do this through projects at the UUFCC and in the broader community, focusing on renewable energy, and promoting the use of sustainable food, green transportation, and clean water.
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.

For this event, Cathy will be joined by several friends and family members. They are Cecilia Blackwell, flute, Brent Register, guitar; Gabriel Herrera, trombone; Jacob Herrera, trumpet and ukelele, and Jim Latten, percussion. Cathy will be playing five different flutes during this program, which will include Baroque music featuring traverso flute and music by the Argentinian composer Astor Pizzolla and the Brazilian composer Pixinguinha. In addition, she will premiere some of her original works and compositions by Brent Register that highlight the alto flute and piccolo. End Gun Violence Advocacy Day Last year, 500 Pennsylvanians descended on Harrisburg, demanding an end to gun violence. Soon after, the first bipartisan policies in years passed the PA House. The UUFCC Song Circle offers a fun, monthly opportunity to make music together with voices, guitars, banjos, ukuleles, drums, kazoos, etc. Anyone from the Fellowship or local community can join us to play, sing, or listen. We go around the circle with each person choosing the next song, either from our song-books or a song they brought to share. Contact Pam Short for more information.

Parents' Night Out! Just drop your kids off to play and build fun connections with other friends and enjoy some time out for yourself! We will provide games, crafts, dinner, and a movie.
This week our Pre-K/K friends will explore Mother's Day and who comprises our families. Sign in downstairs in Room D.
...with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. Mother's Day was originally a proclamation against war and for mothers around the world to claim peace as a moral right for all people. We will honor and celebrate all those who mother today and revisit the original intention of the day.
We will start in the sanctuary for the Wisdom Lesson - sign-in at the Welcome Table. This Sunday we will create art expressing what makes a family and all the different ways to be a family.
Enjoy fresh made pancakes after the service on Mother's Day. The youth will be selling pancakes to help raise funds for their Urban Work Service Trip, so please support their important effort!
Join us in celebrating all the different ways to be a family! Ritual, card-making, flower bouquets and more. And the youth group will host a Pancake Breakfast. Honor those who nurture you.

The Centre County Interfaith Coalition for Gun Safety is an alliance of local religious leaders and community members committed to building a peaceful society free from preventable gun violence. Through our work, we educate on issues related to gun violence, advocate for responsible and safe gun ownership, and unite with local, state, and federal officials on matters of gun safety that benefit the whole community.
