Foxdale Auditorium 500 E Marylyn Ave, State College, United StatesThe Foxdale Climate Care Committee presents this event. Come learn about the fundamentals of Earth's changing climate, including the evidence for warming, the contributions of humans, the impacts on ecosystems and society, and how our actions now will determine the severity of the threat to our future generations. Dr. Najjar is Professor of Oceanography in the PSU Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science with a joint appointment in the Department of Geosciences. This is a Community Event, so come early to get a seat. This will be facilitated by Martha Butler, G-111.

Green Sanctuary
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County 780 Waupelani Drive, State College, PA, United StatesOur goal is to maintain and enhance the UUFCC's green sanctuary certification by promoting ecojustice and the environmental practices that make ecojustice possible. They are Cecilia Blackwell, flute, Brent Register, guitar; Gabriel Herrera, trombone; Jacob Herrera, trumpet and ukelele, and Jim Latten, percussion. Cathy will be playing five different flutes during this program, which will include Baroque music featuring traverso flute and music by the Argentinian composer Astor Pizzolla and the Brazilian composer Pixinguinha. In addition, she will premiere some of her original works and compositions by Brent Register that highlight the alto flute and piccolo.
