As Unitarian Universalists, we honor the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We affirm the diversity of gender and work to create communities where people of all genders and no gender are free to be themselves. We also recognize that transgender and non-binary youth have particular needs, and that there is more work to do to make sure that our circle is open to every person, of whatever age or gender, called to our faith. This is part of our sacred work.

For our service today, members and friends of our Fellowship will read their own poems and stories about their experiences of being transgender.  We will celebrate them and others who may not yet be ready to share their stories.

We hope you will join us and wear your colors to show support! The Jazz Band will play.
