Please join us in the 2nd Annual APIDA Festival to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. This town and gown event will include food, music, live entertainment for all to enjoy. The event will be held at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza and Fraser Street.  

Community Event – “Global Warming 101” with guest speaker Dr. Raymond Najjar

The Foxdale Climate Care Committee presents this event. Come learn about the fundamentals of Earth's changing climate, including the evidence for warming, the contributions of humans, the impacts on ecosystems and society, and how our actions now will determine the severity of the threat to our future generations. Dr. Najjar is Professor of Oceanography in the PSU Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science with a joint appointment in the Department of Geosciences. This is a Community Event, so come early to get a seat. This will be facilitated by Martha Butler, G-111.

End Gun Violence Advocacy Day Last year, 500 Pennsylvanians descended on Harrisburg, demanding an end to gun violence. Soon after, the first bipartisan policies in years passed the PA House.
