UU Adventurers: May – Grounds Cleanup and Picnic
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County 780 Waupelani Drive, State College, PA, United StatesJoin the crowd after the service and coffee hour on May 19th to spruce up the Fellowship grounds for Spring. Jobs for kids, gardeners, and junk removers. Wear your UUFCC t-shirt (we have t-shirts for sale!) or favorite t-shirt and dress to get dirty, bring tools, gloves, buckets, hats, sunscreen, even your weed whacker. Subramanyam (Subu) Vedam, a State College man, was wrongfully convicted of murder in 1982 and sentenced to life without parole, leading to decades of trauma for him and his family. Documents have recently surfaced showing that Subu could not have committed the crime, and that prosecutors concealed this evidence from his defense.
