This week: Start in the sanctuary for a Costume Parade and Thriller Flash Mob, then go downstairs with Sue to explore "My World Has Darkness", Sign-in is at the Welcome Table Each week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D. 1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service. This week: Start in Room 6. Middle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum. In most services led by Rev. What questions do you carry with you for those life changing transitions? What hopes or fears find their way into your consciousness? What can you offer others as they face their own transitions? This is a time to connect deeply and richly about the transitions, good and bad, in our lives. |
