Annual Meeting + End of Year Celebration 2025
Join us for a short Annual Meeting, after which we will celebrate the end of the year! We’ll gather outdoors (weather permitting) for a festive potluck to celebrate the close of the RE year. The Board will provide sandwich fixings, and the RE Team will treat us to an ice cream bar. This is also a special opportunity to welcome back Ashley Hamlin, our Director of Religious Lifespan Education. Bring a dish to share and come celebrate with us!
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
Yard Sale Committee
Do you love organizing, treasure hunting, or just enjoy a good community event? We're kicking off plans for this year’s Yard Sale and would love your help! Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just curious about how you can pitch in, join us for our upcoming committee meeting. We’ll discuss logistics, donations, and ways to make this year’s sale a fun and successful event for everyone. Meeting on Zoom (link).
Program Council + Calendering
The Program Council—our coordinating group for committees involved in Community Life—is meeting to finalize the calendar for the upcoming church year. This is a great opportunity to stay connected, share your committee’s plans, and help ensure our events and programs run smoothly and collaboratively. (Zoom meeting link here)

Justice Singers
The Justice Singers of Centre County are an open community gathering for those who find power, healing, and connection through song in the face of injustice. The group sings songs of protest, resilience, and hope, drawing from resources like Rise Up Singing. Participants are encouraged to bring themselves, a friend, and an instrument if they like, but no experience is required—just a willingness to lift your voice. The circle also explores opportunities to sing at local actions and events, such as the May Day Strong Day of Action, Pride, and other protests.
Educational Justice League
EJL’s mission is to establish a powerful social justice coalition that actively advocates for and promotes equity for marginalized populations. We are committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by communities of color, individuals who identify as women, LGBTQ+ individuals, promoting accessibility for people with disabilities, respecting and supporting individuals of all religions, and bridging the socioeconomic gap through equitable education.
