...with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. Mother's Day was originally a proclamation against war and for mothers around the world to claim peace as a moral right for all people. We will honor and celebrate all those who mother today and revisit the original intention of the day.
We will start in the sanctuary for the Wisdom Lesson - sign-in at the Welcome Table. This Sunday we will create art expressing what makes a family and all the different ways to be a family.
Enjoy fresh made pancakes after the service on Mother's Day. The youth will be selling pancakes to help raise funds for their Urban Work Service Trip, so please support their important effort!
Join us in celebrating all the different ways to be a family! Ritual, card-making, flower bouquets and more. And the youth group will host a Pancake Breakfast. Honor those who nurture you.

Join the crowd after the service and coffee hour on May 19th to spruce up the Fellowship grounds for Spring. Jobs for kids, gardeners, and junk removers. Wear your UUFCC t-shirt (we have t-shirts for sale!) or favorite t-shirt and dress to get dirty, bring tools, gloves, buckets, hats, sunscreen, even your weed whacker. The Centre County Advisory Council to the PHRC will be holding their annual social gathering meet and greet on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 5:30 pm, at Titan Hollow Restaurant, 2O42 Axemann Rd Suite 179, Bellefonte, PA 16823. We will share our own recent experiences there with Samaritans providing humanitarian aid to migrants. You will watch a video clip from the PBS News hour with Amna Nawaz at the border wall.
