Song Circle
The UUFCC Song Circle offers a fun, monthly opportunity to make music together with voices, guitars, banjos, ukuleles, drums, kazoos, etc. Anyone from the Fellowship or local community can join us to play, sing, or listen. We go around the circle with each person choosing the next song, either from our song-books or a song they brought to share. Contact Pam Short for more information.

CCIC4GS – CALM Training with Marisa Vicere
Collaboration on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) We are excited to invite Marisa Vicere from the Jana Marie Foundation back for a CALM Conversations training on Monday, January 13th from 3:00 - 4:30. We’ll have a brief CCIC4GS update and the move quickly into the training. During the training, you will learn the signs and symptoms of suicide and how to engage in conversations to create safe environments. Community Event – “Tipping Points and the Big Picture on Climate and Energy”
Dr. Richard Alley, an Evan Pugh University Professor in the Department of Geosciences and leader of the Penn State Ice and Climate Research Center, will present a talk on Tuesday, January 14 at 7 pm at Foxdale. The well-documented risk of climate change is the potential of crossing thresholds called tipping points, which could trigger rapid, irreversible changes. Dr. Alley will describe potential tipping points and discuss the benefits of transitioning to a sustainable energy system in avoiding these thresholds. This lecture is open to the public.

Soulful Sundown – “Nurturing Resilience in a Challenging Time”
...with Virginia Hubbs. We all face challenges at different times of our lives — personal, cultural and spiritual. Such challenges can range from a national pandemic such as COVID to dealing with the loss of a loved one or pet, to personal illness, and more. This service will help us to find the spiritual resilience to face such challenges when they come our way.

Middle School Hangout
Middle School youth are invited for a monthly hangout to begin Nov 23! The youth will meet downstairs at the UU in the Gathering Space from 5-7 pm and play games, eat pizza, and just have fun.
