Sunday Service – “Radical Hospitality”
with Rev. Tracy Sprowls How do we create the biggest and widest circle of inclusivity? How do we welcome all when we feel unsafe or unsure? Does radical hospitality encourage and support belonging or can it still leave some out? On October 20, we will celebrate our animal companions with our annual animal blessing. For this service, people are welcome to bring well-behaved animals either leashed or secured in a carrier. We also encourage pictures of animals (alive or deceased) and stuffed lovies too. If you are uncomfortable with animals, please join us on zoom!

OWL for K-9th grade
OWL is a comprehensive sexuality education program that is a signature curriculum of the UUA and the United Church of Christ. It is a life-saving program that helps kids explore their values around their bodies, relationships, health, and justice and equity. They engage in highly interactive activities and discussions which give them age appropriate information and decision making ability so that they can feel empowered to stand up for themselves and others. UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
High School Youth Group – Discussion on Free Will
Our high school youth lean into leadership as they determine their own journey through the year. They choose what topics of discussion, fun, and social justice work they engage in with caring adult mentors along the way. Join us this Sunday at 1 pm for a facilitated discussion on "Free Will". Dr. Joshua Wretzel from PSU philosophy department and a member at Congregation Brit Shalom will lead our youth in an open discussion on the topic of "free will". All view points are welcome!
