Our goal is to maintain and enhance the UUFCC's green sanctuary certification by promoting ecojustice and the environmental practices that make ecojustice possible. We do this through projects at the UUFCC and in the broader community, focusing on renewable energy, and promoting the use of sustainable food, green transportation, and clean water.

The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.

UUFCC Music Series – “Flutist Cathy Herrera presents “Piazzolla, Pixinguinha and Premieres”
For this event, Cathy will be joined by several friends and family members. They are Cecilia Blackwell, flute, Brent Register, guitar; Gabriel Herrera, trombone; Jacob Herrera, trumpet and ukelele, and Jim Latten, percussion. Cathy will be playing five different flutes during this program, which will include Baroque music featuring traverso flute and music by the Argentinian composer Astor Pizzolla and the Brazilian composer Pixinguinha. In addition, she will premiere some of her original works and compositions by Brent Register that highlight the alto flute and piccolo. End Gun Violence Advocacy Day Last year, 500 Pennsylvanians descended on Harrisburg, demanding an end to gun violence. Soon after, the first bipartisan policies in years passed the PA House. Song Circle
The UUFCC Song Circle offers a fun, monthly opportunity to make music together with voices, guitars, banjos, ukuleles, drums, kazoos, etc. Anyone from the Fellowship or local community can join us to play, sing, or listen. We go around the circle with each person choosing the next song, either from our song-books or a song they brought to share. Contact Pam Short for more information.
