The Reverend Doctor Richard Speck is the retired District Executive for the Joseph Priestley District (JPD) of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations. He was named Minister Emeritus in 2019. Previously, he served nine years as minister to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach, FL, before coming to the JPD in 2000 as Acting District Executive. Treasurer’s Budget Overview
With Martha Butler, Treasurer. At the annual meeting on June 1st, we will be voting on the UUFCC budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year. If you'd like more information about the budget before the annual meeting, please plan to attend this session. Our Treasurer, Martha Butler, will show the reports she has developed on the proposed budget vs. this current year's spending and the thinking that went into the various items in the budget. UUFCC Resilience and Acceptance Discussion Group
The participants of the UUFCC Resilience and Acceptance in the Face of Collapse course (which met from October 2023-February 2024) would like to invite UUFCC members and others to participate in the UUFCC Resilience and Acceptance Discussion Group. Women’s Book Club
We are a women's book club that meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. We choose our books once a year, and the person who recommends the book generally leads the discussion. The group is hosted by a different member each month. New members and visitors are welcome at any meeting. This month's book is:

Priestley Pilgrimage Picnic
An exciting excursion to the Priestley house in PA! We will need to bring chairs and tables, food, and drink, and musical instruments. It takes about ~75 minutes to Northumberland by Route 80, and a little longer on Route 45 or 192, although they are more pleasant. Plan on leaving about 10:30 from State College, set up picnic around noon. Have a brief speech, and then impromptu music and poetry and whatever. We will eat and park by the chapel.
