Some Sundays we will work in the new Layered Pollinator Habitat building pathways, labeling plants, and learning about what grows there. Other Sundays we will engage in Music and Play, a special curriculum developed by Karen Maynard. We hope your kiddos will participate!

The participants of the UUFCC Resilience and Acceptance in the Face of Collapse course (which met from October 2023-February 2024) would like to invite UUFCC members and others to participate in the UUFCC Resilience and Acceptance Discussion Group. The Justice Singers of Centre County are an open community gathering for those who find power, healing, and connection through song in the face of injustice. The group sings songs of protest, resilience, and hope, drawing from resources like Rise Up Singing. Participants are encouraged to bring themselves, a friend, and an instrument if they like, but no experience is required—just a willingness to lift your voice. The circle also explores opportunities to sing at local actions and events, such as the May Day Strong Day of Action, Pride, and other protests.

We are committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by communities of color, individuals who identify as women, LGBTQ+ individuals, promoting accessibility for people with disabilities, respecting and supporting individuals of all religions, and bridging the socioeconomic gap through equitable education.

As the sun passes its halfway point between the summer solstice and fall equinox, we will gather by the UUFCC firepit on Saturday night, August 2, to celebrate this harvest season. Bring a chair, drink, food, and story or song. The fire will be lit around 8:30. Questions – contact Andy Lau.
