Sunday Service – “Ingathering- Water Ceremony”
with Rev. Tracy Sprowls and Ashley Hamlin, DLRE. Music: UUFCC Choir Welcome to another year of community, love, and possibility! This service for all ages welcomes you to a new program year with a backpack blessing, music, story, and ritual. Please collect a bit of water from a place that is special to you, whether it be from your travels or somewhere close. Bring this water to the Water Ceremony where we will have an opportunity to share and mingle our water. This water is later purified and used in blessings and child dedications. Additionally, we will have our ingathering picnic [...]
Green Sanctuary
Our goal is to maintain and enhance the UUFCC's green sanctuary certification by promoting ecojustice and the environmental practices that make ecojustice possible. We do this through projects at the UUFCC and in the broader community, focusing on renewable energy, and promoting the use of sustainable food, green transportation, and clean water.
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
