Sunday Service – “A Season of Expectations”
...with Rev. Tracy Sprowls. Music: UUFCC Choir & Kids, Kadri, and Ji. This morning we explore Hanukkah and Christmas as they relate to expectations and hope- of the holidays, ourselves, each other, and our future.
RE: Pre-K & K
Each week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.
RE: 1st-5th Grade
1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
RE: Middle School
Middle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, kids remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
Addressing the Affordable Housing Crisis
Everyone in State College deserves a safe, affordable place to call home, raise their families and live a vibrant, dignified, and full life. But outdated zoning rules that block many types of affordable housing are fueling a crisis that's squeezing hardworking residents.
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.

Fellowship Supper
Join us for a community potluck each month in Fellowship Hall! This is a wonderful time out to connect with UUFCC friends, eat a delicious meal, and celebrate birthdays of the month.
Winter Solstice Service
Dinner at 6pm followed by the Winter Solstice ritual + carol sing-along led by UU Adventurers. We come together to celebrate and honor the wheel of the year, the turning of the earth and thus the changing of the seasons. This is a service in which we honor and celebrate our deep connection to the earth and welcome back the light. This intergenerational service will be outside next to the firepit. Dress warmly. Followed by Hot Apple Cider and Holiday Carol singing with the UU Adventurers.
UUFCC Choir Rehearsal
Performs for hymns and extra music during Sunday Services three times a month.
Transitions Group
We face transitions all the time from getting up in the morning after a night's rest to retiring from a job to losing a loved one. Transitions are everywhere and they are everyday. What questions do you carry with you for those life changing transitions? What hopes or fears find their way into your consciousness? What can you offer others as they face their own transitions? This is a time to connect deeply and richly about the transitions, good and bad, in our lives.
Community Event – Leading Locally: Centre Region Climate Initiatives & Community Partnerships
Join us for an engaging presentation with Pam Adams, Regional Planning Director for the Centre Region Council of Governments (CRCOG). Pam has served the region for 16 years, leading sustainability planning and the Climate Action and Adaptation Plan while working with municipalities and community partners to advance meaningful environmental, economic, and energy initiatives. CRCOG, a partnership of six Centre Region municipalities, works collaboratively to provide shared services and address regional challenges. Pam will discuss how local government, businesses, and residents are taking action on climate priorities, from solar installations and clean transportation efforts to food waste programs, renewable natural gas projects, [...]
