Sunday Service – “What Is Your Ministry?”
with Elaine Jurs. What’s going on at the UU Fellowship? SO MUCH! We invite you to be a part of it. Join us on Sunday, September 21st for our Worship Service, “What is Your Ministry?” followed by our annual Engagement Fair. Our committees and interest groups will have tables and information in the Community Room. Feel free to circulate and find a group, committee, or initiative that you might like to know more about. Whether your special interest is music, games, hospitality, Worship, books, children, social justice, the environment, or helping those in need, there is a place for you at [...]
RE: Pre-K & K
We'll talk about our Hands! Each week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.
RE: 1st-5th Grade
We will talk about "What does Peace mean?" and make Peace Pinwheels to take to UBBC for the interfaith Peace Vigil Sunday afternoon 1st through 5th grade kids explore UU Identity through our Article II values with Legos. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
RE: Middle School
Middle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, kids remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
Engagement Fair
Committees and UUFCC Groups will table after the Sunday Service. Come take a look and see if there's a fun task you would enjoy helping with, and or find new (and old) friends in community!
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.
