In this service, we will explore how we can communicate with each other to get the best out of our relationships.
RE: Pre-K & K – “Differences Are Important”
Each week our kids gather to explore our world in light of our UU values. Pre-K/K friends will engage in guided exploration of various topics with their wonderful teachers, Sue Smith and Rocky Landers, downstairs in Room D.
RE: 1st-5th Grade – “Soul Matters: Compassion’s Call to Treat Everyone with Dignity”
1st through 5th grade kids are learning our values through the monthly congregational themes, and have a bi-monthly social justice book project and activity. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, children remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go downstairs to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.

Middle School youth engage in UU Identity through themes each month and fun activities using our Soul Matters curriculum. In services led by Rev. Tracy Sprowls, kids remain in the Sanctuary until the Wisdom Lesson, then go to class. In multigenerational services, they stay for the entire service.
Starting Point: Pathway to Membership
Join us for a two session journey sharing our own spiritual backgrounds and learning about the history of the Fellowship. This class is also open to any current members/friends who wish to retrace their spiritual journey to the UUFCC. Child care + supper provided. Please sign up here.
Music & Play
Any kids who want to be a part of the Thriller flash mob on Oct 26th, or help sing some Halloween songs at that service, should come to this special Music and Play class this week. Adults welcome too! For elementary ages, led by Karen Maynard.
UUFCC Jazz Band Rehearsal
The UUFCC Jazz Band is open to all. Rehearsals occur on Sundays in the Sanctuary, although occasionally the band may rehearse in Room 6 due to major church events. Contact David Morris if interested.

Community Event: State College Choral Society – Luck, Laughter, and Love (Williamsport)
We are excited to be joining forces with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra to open the 77th season of the State College Choral Society with the perennial favorite, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. Inspired by a collection of Medieval poetry from southern Germany, Orff composed the music in 1935 in a style purposefully much simpler and more tonal than his contemporaries Schoenberg and Stravinsky. The poetry’s focus on the fickleness of luck, life in the tavern, and the thrill of springtime and love, are as relevant today as when they were written nearly one thousand years ago.
